Display with white lines

Sigh, today my TT920T started with white horizontal lines across the display.

Looks like every second vertical line is out of order :-(

Display broken?
Displaydriver broken?

Any experience and suggestions?

Doesn't sound good.

Don't suppose a pin reset helps at all?

And is your battery fully charged in the unit?

Fully charged.

Pin reset didnt help.

It is quite weird.

It looks like very second horizontal line is white.

And then there are vertical lines wherever there are white text on the screen.

QUite weird.

That small wire inside, next to the display cable, is it for the microphone or the lightsensor?

Cable is broken in my TomTom I found out, and if it is for the light-sensor, everything makes sense.

I will fix the cable tonight and see what it solves.
