TomTom has announced it is going to close its app, website and support to its sport watches. Worse of all: inexplicably, it is going to do it not allowing anyone uses the watches to upload the data in other services (as Strava).

Has anyone developed any API or code that allows to avoid this punishment that TomTom has imposed to its clients. The o la idea is to continue using our watches than out of the TonTon decision remain being 100% functional? As far as I have seen, the guy that programmed StudioBluePlanet bought another watch and discontinued the API he programmed.

Thanks!

The StudioBluePlanet tool seems to work fine, at least for my purposes. The binary which is included on the blog page works allright on my Windows 10 system.
Maybe someone should additionally make a simple tool to upload the user's TomTom history batch-wise to for instance Strava. It's a bit sad it has to end like this, loosing years of your physical activity data because there is no way to automatically import it into another website/app.
