930 wont connect to the Mac

My 930 wont connect to the computer iMac, or Windows
when i place the unit on the dock a screen comes up and ask do i want to connect to computer
i press yes and the screen goes blank,the unit wont turn on at this point either on the doc or off the dock,i then have to remove the unit from the dock press the reset button and then place the unit back on the dock and turn the power button.At this point it will connect to the computer.
i have to do this every time i place the unit on the dock
i have all the latest updates

please help

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application.

Make an Explorer, not Home, backup of the unit's contents. Reformat the internal storage of the unit. Restore the back up also using Explorer.
