920 Display Troubles

Hello, anyone have the following problem with the GO 920...

In battery savings, select turn off screen between instructions to preserve battery life....does not work on my unit.

I emailed tech support and they had me do a soft reset, hard reset, upgrade check and run the flash program.

I enabled turn off screen after instruction and it worked once. When it came on the brightness was really high even though I have selected 5% for night driving.

Any ideas???

OK, I figured it out. The screen will only turn off beween instructions on long straight roads. Usually 3.5 KM or more. If you have any upcoming turns or warnings the screen will not go into power save mode.
