XL Live won't open

My TomTom XL Live will not open. It is stuck in a cycle between the opening screen and the next screen where the yellow lines runs across the bottom. I've tried the drum reboot numerous times but it just reverts to the cycle between the first two screens.

I'm away from home and don't have Home software loaded on this iPad and don't have the connector either. Guess I'll just have to use a map and by a Garmin next time.

If a drum reboot doesn't rectify the issue and you have no access to a computer then, yes, you'll need another source for mapping.

Garmins can have just as many problems, check out some user forums!

Also, you can't really blame TomTom for you not having the right connector with you. Once you have that and have accesss to Home, let us know if you need any further help or advice.
