With the economic situation being what it is, everyone's looking for a way to make some extra money. Some criminals are counting on that, in fact:
Please beware of so-called "work at home" or "home-based business" opportunities. If you come across an opportunity to reship merchandise, process checks from customers, or are approached about a mystery shopper opportunity in which you receive a check and must send some amount back and/or purchase items to be sent away for "quality inspections," it's either illegal goods trafficking or some sort of fraud. There are legitimate work from home opportunities out there, some of them are even profitable, but please be careful out there.
