450 rider
tried to update my old 450 via computer lead no problems in past

Deleted old 400 model thinking it was causing problems and tried to reload with the 450
but can’t find my device tried a few times even reset unit
Was looking to upgrade to a 550 but been told no longer available what’s the up to date model that’s replacing the 550 rider
Cheers for any help

The UK site would be delighted to sell you one:

The 550 is indeed the most recent Rider model.

I have no idea. Then again, I have no idea what url is bringing you that message, either. The kit is for sale. Perhaps you could tell us where you're seeing that info to the contrary?

Also this one
I don’t want to
Purchase to find it’s no longer updates or a new one comes out after purchasing

It is only in the United States and Canada that Tomtom no longer sells GPS.
And also not in Australia, NZ, some parts of Asia...
Looks like they're only going to focus on Europe now.

If you finally consider upgrading to the Rider 550 World or especially the 550 Premium (recommended), my above quoted website link achieves an extremely good price saving compared to TomToms current RRP on their U.K. site. It’s still an excellent constructed device.
* Mod - advise to move to “Rider specific issues”

Thanks for info I’ll look to purchasing a new 550 model one other question price difference from £400.00 down to £300.00 is there a reason why such a big difference
Cheers

The price difference is because the Premium Rider 550 Pack has additional accessories
*Car assembly kit
*RAM anti-theft solution
*Protective carrying case

If you are referring specifically to the Rider 550 World, when it was initially released, TomTom recommended a RRP of £400 in the U.K. - but as is usual after a few years, discounts are available especially when other trade suppliers have purchased in bulk and shifting stock. As @Willy875 states - tempting extras especially the RAM anti-theft solution for a little bit more ££.
