Several v710 map Versions

I was just on TomTom United Kingdom (not availible on USA yet) site looking at the different v710 versions for sale.

Here are the different map sizes it shows for the various tomtom units.

One and One XL versions: 924 mb (USA-Canada only)
510,520,710,720 : 1.756 mb (NA versions)
910,920 : 2056 mb (NA version)

Here are my questions:

Why is the 910,920 version so large?
Could the 910,920 version be used on the 510,710?
If so, I assume I would need a 4 gig SD card, or delete something in the download ?
Has anyone done this?

Anyone out there know the difference in the v710 maps ,between the 2gig ( for 910-920) vs the 1.7 gig ( for all others)? Whats in the 2 gig thats not in the 1.7?

The method is for someone to do a side by side comparison. No one yet has both units or both maps to do that.
