screen goes blank after 30 seconds

I'm on a road trip now, and it worked fine for the first 200 miles.

Then after a fuel stop, the screen goes blank after 30 seconds.
When I press on the screen, it comes back on,
but then the screen goes blank again after about 30 seconds!

What's going on!?!

It's 72 hours old so far.

Are you certain the vehicle power cable is seated firmly? There should be a green light if so.

where is green light at?

On the plug inserted in your car power outlet (ie cigarette lighter). You are using a charging cable correct?

There should be a light on the cigarette plug that illuminates green when its plugged in. There is also a light on the bottom of the GPS that illuminates when its plugged in (near where you plug it in at)...

There are a few settings for the display to shut off if its not plugged in in the preferences.

In my 330 XL you tap the screen, goto Change Preferences > Safety Preferences > Done > Done > Turn off Map Display NEVER > Done

Then goto Change Preferences > Brightness Preferences > Done > Never turn off screen Done > Switch off when external power is lost Uncheck Done
