Power Recycling

I had my 910 set so when the power goes off it shuts down. This has been working great. It recently started flashing the "will shut down in 10 seconds" then okay, then flashes, and so on. If i turn the auto power off feature, it works fine.

I really want to use this feature cause i always forget to power it off. (Happens when you get old). Anyone have an idea?

Probably one of two things:

(1) Your Tom Tom is intermittently losing contact with the mount due to road bumps
(2) Your Tom Tom battery is/has gone bad

I'd bet the first. Does this symptom occur while the car is stopped? If not, it's the mount. Try to wedge something (cloth, tape) between the Tom Tom and mount to make the connection more secure.
