I have selected gas stations as points of interest for a trip I was taking and no matter what trip I plan next they are still showing on the map. I want to get rid of them but I cannot seem to do so.

they were the poi gas stations that were on the gps already.

Ask support for assistance then:

FWIW, I have had the same issue. The gas stations insist on appearing on the display no matter what I do. Not really a problem out on the open road, but a pain in the neck in the Los Angeles metropolitan area where gas stations are almost wall to wall.

Good point. I have done a drum reset, but have not gone any further than that. I'll have to try that when I get home tonight.

It's probably part of route planning configuration.

On the device, go to Settings / Appearance / Route bar / Route information / Gas stations -- and disable it there.

Yup, that was it. I would have sworn that I had looked for that, but I obviously missed it.
