What files names do I backup or copy when I save a favorite as a POI and itinerary list name ?

If I do re-set it erases all favorites POI and itinerary.

Any files with an extension of .itn in the itn folder are your itineraries.

To convert favourites to a custom ov2 set, look here

The POI are listed as closest distance from current location right?

Is there a way to list them in alphabetical order ?

No, but I suggested before to open the POI in Tyre and rename that address to anything you want..
That still does not get it sorted but at least it will start alphabetically with something that makes sense to the originator.
In my personal POIs, after the meaningful name, I leave several blank spaces so that these will clearly stand out in a search.
