Yes, don't use home to do this. Use windows explorer and move/copy the files over.

I don't want to replace all the poi's. I just want to add the custom poi group that i created in the 300 to the 510. Does anyone know the location and the name of the file that I need to copy ?

They should be in your North America Folder on your SD. They are not one file but many files. Copy the ones you want and paste them to your 510 north america folder.
