GPX Files

Hi
I want to load a GPX file into the Tom Tom GO app on my phone.
It looks a if I have to do this by loading the route file into MyDrive Connect.
I have downloaded MyDrive Connect to my laptop but it wants me to "add" a device via a USB post. I don't seem to be able to do this with my phone.
How do I add a GPX file to my phone given this is the only device I have?
I have downloaded GoRide and can add a GPX ile to this directly. But it looks as if I can't do this with Tom Tom Go.
All help appreciated.

Mydrive connect is not compatible with your phone you must connect to Mydrive.

It's cloud based. You log in with the same TomTom account in the app and on Plan.TomTom.com.

On Plan.TomTom.com, click the menu icon in the top left and select My items. Select the Routes tab and click Import GPX file right below Routes.
