go 950 post code problem

Since renewing the live services for my go 950 and then updating the maps etc, it has stopped working with the full post code. It also now seems to take an age contacting the tomtom server for live services.

I noticed in another thread someone else mentioning a similar problem and someone suggesting downloading a postcode zip file, but I couldn't find it.

Can someone please help.

IF you are running Map 890 now, could be you are looking for this file: http://www.tomtom.com/updates/zipcodes/Map_890/zip.zip

Use your favorite extraction tool to place the CONTENT of that zip file (not the file itself) into a FOLDER called "zip" in the root of your 950.

Here's what the folder and it's contents should look ike once installed on the TomTom.
(These were the v885 postcodes so the file sizes for v890 will be a bit different).

I have downloaded the file, but as the wife has the device and is on the road for a few days, I will have to wait until later in the week to copy them over.

Will update the thread once I've done that.
