Custom POI Red Square Issue

I hate to bring this one around again but....

I just received 7 new Live 1535 units that I have to put a custom POI into. I have created the poi using 'MakeOV2' and using My TomTom installed the POI. The resulting symbol on the map is a red square. The .bmp is 22x22, a dpi of 72 and a color of 256. Both the .ov2 and .bmp name are the same.

I have not seen any recent postings on this issue on the newer units that are updated through My TomTom. Any help would be appreciated.

And the .bmp file is named EXACTLY the same as the associated .ov2 file?

Yes it is. To be sure I recreated the poi file and used the .bmp that was created by 'makeov2'.

Change the colour depth to 24 bit and make sure you haven't got a double bmp extension applied to the file name i.e POI FILE.bmp.bmp as this is easy to do - Mike
