Connecting tomtom 720 with car radio

How does it work ?and how do i connect it ?

You can either use an external 1/8 Audio out cable to the audio in / AUX jack on you car stereo (if you have one) or you can use the 720s built in FM transmitter to transmit it to a dead FM station and play it in your car.

And a bit more...

If you go into the TT settings (I don't recall the menu location), and try using the FM transmitter, you will get a screen that allows you to type in an fm station's numbers. So you kind of search your fm dial for empty, less staticky stations and hope it works. I find that I cannot find a good reliable quiet station.
