Not sure why as I don't think there's any way for you to discern a difference without opening the case and checking which GPS chip was used. Thanks for the replies both.
Mine is a YC prefix serial number so I am hoping it is a 2nd Gen.
On 1 or 2 you can select the fastest, the shortest, the most efficient.Im looking for an answer to this question myself and the only difference I can see is that gen2 dont have Eco route for fuel efficient navigation and is cheaper
Assuming we're still talking about the same thing (YA/YB/YC serials vs ZU/ZV/ZW), Discover/Expert/Exclusive, these ALL still used the Micro-B connector. As noted above, they're externally identical.Hi guys,
after talking to a seller of 1st Generation, it seems at least one difference is the connecting cable: 1st Generation has the mini-usb connector while the 2nd Generation has usb-c.
Would be good if somebody can confirm this.
I think the confusion is related to the expression "Gen 2". I've not seen that expression used in any of the online TT documentation for Camper Max devices, only your manual reference. If it's the most recent version they're talking about, you just don't see a generation indication here:Thanks for the comment. Funny, as the specifications on the websites where you can buy both generations mention explicitly USB-C. I wonder from where this confusion comes from.
Anyway, my 2nd Gen arrives today so i will comment back.
I bought one year ago camper max 7 and I can't renew premium services. Can somebody tell how can I solve de issue? My is gen.1 old usb- micro.
