After back up I started the download for 865 and had supper.
Coming back I see the following window:

Screen028.jpg

Removed the card and ran a simulation and it was OK.
Compared the Device and Memory Card folders and found the Safety_Cam_US_Canada to be the only file in the poi folder of the memory card.

Ran a short demo past a known Red Light camera location, at 100% and got no warning.
Inserted the car after a shut down, ran the demo again, no change.

I will take the 930 with me in the next two days and see if actually driving past it will make a change.

Strange. What had you selected as the location for the map install, card or internal?

Home 2.8 gives me this message as well -- but in the case of both my 720 and 740, it is a correct warning -- I keep my map folders for both units on their respective SD cards.

Are you saying that you do not normally keep any of your map data on SD?

I did not select a location.
During connecting it asked internal or card, I selected internal.
I then went Update my Go and walked away.
When I got back after supper it had installed the map to internal memory, where it should be by my choice when new but it had installed the Safety camera into the poi folder of the memory card.

I but it had installed the Safety camera into the poi folder of the memory card.

Arno,

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the POI files are installed in the map folder. How did you separate the POIs from the map folder installed to the internal memory to a POI folder located on the SD card?

No, I am not saying that.
From day one I keep the W&CE map on the SD card and the NA map in internal memory.

The poi ov2 and bmp files are in the map folder but TT has put the tlv files in the poi folder of the internal memory and the US&Canada REd Light tlv file into the poi folder of the SD card.
As I said, none of my doing.

I drove past the known Red Light camera locations this morning without getting a warning.
After getting home it dawned on me to check something.
Sure as heck, the POI for the Red Light cameras was not enabled as in Change preferences > Show POI on map.

I will have to try it again next week.

Home is infamous for putting things in the wrong place, or in more than one place, or renaming them so they don't work...

Nothing that Home does, surprises me any more!
