I have the baby brother of this model, the 350XL, and I completely agree with the review.

I am very happy with the product so far.

Think the review is poor..........

Refers to the 540 as having 'a few' more options than the 550's 'Easy Menu'. Well, that's some understatement.

Also does not mention you cannot see poi's in driving view on a 550 nor have the ability to add custom poi files.
