XXL 540 TM map zoom lock...

I did search the topic but came up empty, would just like to be able to lock the map zoom out and keep it there Vs what TomTom thinks it should do which is zoom back. This is a nice feature for trips. Having had an 07 and 08 Jeep Wrangler RUBICON for my wife and I we became spoiled to Chrysler's MyGig Nav which blows away this particular TomTom model. TT's competitors map zoom lock, don't understand their thinking, but if anyone has any tips would appreciate it.

Would also like to ditch the Canada & Mexico maps just to free memory, although I don't really need the memory it's just somethign I'd like to do. So far seems it's not possible.

You can disable autozoom I think but you can't lock it to a certain level.

Also, Canada & Mexico can't be split off the map.
