XL335s Can't add missing street

I have a XL335s and have used the map corrections link to block a street near my house but when I try to add a missing street I can't save it to my device. All I can do is send it. But I want to have the new street added to my device. So I've sent it but how long before the new street can be added to my device?

The truth? Maybe next map..... or the next ..... or the next ......

That's the weakness of mapshares. Geographical changes can't be added , just reported and nobody knows (outside of TomTom, I suppose) what exactly is the vetting process for prioritizing changes in a new map.

Clearly, the more reports of the same thing, the better............

I've noticed in Tomtom's press releases and in practice, that new roads appear to be added primarily based on anonymous drivers, rather than mapshare reports.

Again, no one but Tomtom knows for sure, but I recommend turning on "submit anonymous data" and driving that road often.
