If you are navigating from A to B and want to mark a position how do you do that?
The manual says hit the GPS pointer but it is not available while the map is moving. Just when you browse.
    Thanks

Click Add Favorite. Then click GPS Position.

Adding your current position from the main screen:

Change preferences>Quick menu preferences>Add position to Favorites

If you configure the quick preferences so the only item is "Add position to favorites" (as described above) then the quick menu icon will change to a star with a plus sign so you can save a favorite with only one tap.

This is a kind of cool function of the quick menu - if you only configure one item then it becomes a custom button for that function and the icon changes to reflect the function. Or if you don't want another icon cluttering your screen, uncheck all the quick menu items and the button goes away completely.
