Western Europe Maps on XL

I just loaded Wester Europe onto the XL, it shows that it is loaded, however I was wondering if there was anyway to confirm this before my trip. Should I be able to route plan in Italy while I am in the states ?

First, tap the satellite bars on the unit to see the application installed. Then tap the version number to see the map installed and the version number. It should say Western_Europe or something similar.

You can use the Browse Map feature, Advance Planning while in the States, just not the Navigate to Feature.
