Voice size limit

I just downloaded a bunch of voice files for my TomTom, and they all seem to work, except for a couple that are 1.5MB. Is there a size limit for voice files? Is there any way to get around it?

Where are you downloading them from? Are you using 'Manage Community Content' to transfer from computer to device?

Yes, I used "Manage Community Content," and it shows up as on the device. I transferred 10 voices using the same process. 8 of them (each under 1 MB) worked just fine. The other 2 show up as on the device, but when I try to select them ON the device, they do not appear. It looks like a size limitation; I just find it odd that I can't find any details on this limitation, or if there is a way around it.

I haven't heard of a size limitation either but that doesn't mean much. Where did the larger ones originally come from?

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. See if the two voices work now.
