Via 220 New Maps

I want to put temporary maps on my TomTom Via 220 of Europe(while I visit), but will not have sufficient room for my current Australian maps as well. The VIA does not have a backup so how can I temporarily replace my Australian maps with the European ones then replace them when I return home

Do you have "MyTomTom"installed on your computer?

You SHOULD be able to use MyTomTom's "Manage Content" section (in the top right of the main MyTomTom page) to move the map off your device to make room.

There have been some reports of it not working properly though, where the page was missing the "move to computer" buttons!

Are there reports of the successful removal/install anywhere on Nav3 production units with MyTT? I'm a little out of touch.

Not that I'm aware ............ when it comes to maps.

But are there a significant number of reports of it NOT working? I'd have thought the various forums would be full of it?

I don't think the option is even being shown to production users yet, Andy.
