If the Serial Number starts with BO it has a slot.
Turn your device upside down and pry away the cover to expose the slot.
The difference between 8GB and 16GB is not much and the full USA_Canada_Mexico map is is already 6GB.
Get a Sandisk or Kingston, minimum class 6.
A year ago Walmart was selling 16 GB Lexar class 10 for $11.95. I bought two.
Thanks! My S# starts with BM, and my slot is next to the power/USB connector, not the same as your illustration. I will go with the 16 GB, as I have all three maps, but without the SD, I cannot load all at once.
@Arno
His is a Via 1535. For those, the uSD slot is always by the USB connector. For the GO 1535, it was well hidden under the little flap that you indicated.
@MiGold
You can stuff up to 32GB there, though you'd probably never find a use for it! A 16GB Class 10 will hold all of North America, Europe and a few other odd spots! If you are doing only North America, 8GB would be plenty and then some.
Class 6 minimum recommended, though it's actually easier to find the better Class 10's these days.
@canderson
You still have yours, I sent mine back over a year ago. I had made no pictires of the bottom of my BO model but I had proof that that one had an SD card.
