Vehicle Profile

Hi, I have just update my TT to a Go Expert. In the menu there is a Vehicle Profile, Ive entered my dimension ie 2 one at 14' 06" and the other 14' 2". How do I use this setting as I have selected the profile but does not appear when activating a destination, it shows my last dimensions?

Mine Expert is old enough that it does not allow for more than one truck profile (just one each truck/bus/van/car).

I wasn't aware that the latest Expert model had that feature. I'm guessing you really have the Expert Plus (nice!) That model DOES have multiple profiles for a truck. Does your serial number start with B3 (6") or B4 (7")? If so, that's a "Plus" model. That feature came with a firmware upgrade in late 2023. If so...

If you have just created or modified a profile other than your current one, you must then actually select the alternate profile if that's what you want to use. Creating the new profile with the 14'2" creates it, but does not select it.

Hi Canderson thanks for your reply. My serial starts with a "B7" and yes it a 7". Its confusing as I can create multiple profiles however I have no idea why it's there if I can't use them. Still changing the height manually.

Ah, right you are. The Expert Plus can be a B7.

Somewhere, there must be a method for selecting which of the profiles you want. I know it's easy enough to select from car vs. truck on the older models, for example. Do the multiple truck profiles not show up there as well on the newer models?

Just had an update pop up on my TT and it seems to have sorted the selection of profiles.

Go into settings, go to My Vehicle, you’re then presented with a Delete / Edit and Add button. Click on the Add button enter your profile and save. Follow the same procedure to Add another profile. Once done just select the desired profile and return to the main screen and plot your route. Always double check the profile before driving.
