One other tip with gmail accounts is you can add +something to any address and still have it arrive. You can use this to create filter rules. For instence, if my address was (e-mail address removed) I could sign up to this forum as [email protected] and it would still arrive. Then if you want you can set gmail to flag messages to that address differently. Or if you don't want them anymore you could set up a rule to delete them.
