USA ans Canada Mpa Not Installing but Guam is...Help

[I just bought this refurbished TomTom One XL-S. Today I received my latest map garanutee version 8.25, However, when I tried to install it, I couldn't. It's saved to my comupter but it just will not install to my TomTom. I have tried everything, even reformatting and it still don't work. My TomTom firmeware is 8.010 if that matters. I noticed that Guam is the only map I can install..

So fi anybody could help me it would be much appreciated.

What happens when you try to install v8.25 of the map? Does any information here help?

I believe the 8.10 firmware could be your problem. I think that with 8.15 0r 8.25 map you will need ether 8.30, 8.301 or 8.32 firmeware in order to run these maps. and I think you may need to change the loquendo file in order to get away from the stutter problem with computer voices.

there are multiple versions of the 825 maps. Some are compatible with nevcore 8.3 / iqroutes. The others are compatible with 8.010 (non-iqroutes).

The XL-S should have a USA & Canada map that is 854.6 mb large. If you have a north america map or a map of a different size, tomtom may have given you the wrong one via LMG. The "North America" map is for the GO models only.
