urgent urgent!!!! Edmonton - can't enter street/ave info.

I received a tomtom one xl for christmas and I'm now trying to get it up and running.....

I live in Edmonton, Canada and they use streets and avenues in there addresses. For example the location of one place 12020-149 st.

120 is the ave
20 is the house number
149 is the street

does anyone know how to enter this into the tomtom so that I can navigate to this address....

Try this:

City: Edmonton
Street : Type 140. Matching values appear. Select 140NW.
Number: Put 12020.

When it selects the route, see if that is where you want to be. (I'm using a 810 NA map).

Sorry but that does not take me close to the destination I need.....

Street and house number
If a US state is showing in the upper right, replace it with Canada
City: Edmonton AB
Street: 149 st NW
House number: 12020

Thanks MVL. I really meant 149 st NW D ). I did input that in my unit. Why I typed 140?? Careless......
