Upside down Screen

Hello. I have just bought a GO Navigator 6”. Is the ball and socket on the support arm supposed to move in all directions? Mine only moves up and down so when I want to fix the support to my dashboard instead of the windscreen the display is upside down. How can I turn it up the correct way or does the ball socket need a spot of lubricant so that I can just swivel the unit?

If your mount moves up and down on the ball joint, it also needs to rotate around the ball joint to position it on the dashboard or windshield.

Apply a little more force.
