Updates?

ive had a via 1505 for at least 12 yrs and after several updates i didn't even have to enter the state for an address- only the city--(wonderful update i might add ) and it would list all the states that have that city in it- a quicker way to enter the address-one less step. however since then the later via 1505s don't allow that option--so is there a new update for this issue that i can get?

On old devices like your Via you must always choose the country before choosing a city.

Your Via is an old device and it no longer has a software update.

No, this is not the case with new devices
the only condition is to have all the maps installed on your GPS to make your trip.
