I occasionally check the TeleAtlas data via the Google Maps API at

http://maps.forum.nu/gm_main.html

to see if any new data has been released. There seemed to have been a big refresh since the last time that I checked. I could see that MANY of the MapShare changes I have reported now show up in the current TeleAtlas data. Many of the changes to "big roads" have been incorporated....even some changes to the lesser roads have made it in. I have reported MANY updates via MapShare...I'm actually quite impressed at how many have been incorporated.

This should be a good preview of what is coming in the next release of maps for TT....

I see some changes in eastern Canada as well. I think we will see Tela-Atlas and TomTom Maps improve greatly over time.

Yes Canada is included just zoom out and then pann to the location you want to look at and zoom back in.

Oh I see now that zooming in gets one closer to Canada  but even at maximum zoom I dont get enough details. And left clicking in Canada gets the response:

"Out of Range. Locations in the US only"

That's really referring to info about counties. Pick a location in the US close to the border where you live. Now, simply drag the map till it's over your location in the province you are (such as Toronto -- the centre of the world! :D ). Anyway, just keep zooming the map till you see the area you are concerned with large enough to observe whether there are changes from a previous map.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I see.

That seems odd....From the original link I could type "Toronto" in the Geocode box and it displayed the right data....For that matter, I could type London and it displayed the right data. Every address and city I have entered in the geocode box seems to display correctly.

Yes it does work as you describe. Interesting.

Hum I am not sure, I believe your map is more rescent than the one one the teleAtlas website itselve. http://mapfeedback.teleatlas.com/mapfeedback/index.php
I already read someone saying that on google they are having a map mixed with other map.

Yes that map is more recent than the url you just posted or at least it is in eastern Canada. In your posting the URL for Tela-Atlas has many hwys showing as US and there is no US hwys in Canada.:D Now for something you might not know, the trans Canada hwy from the Quebec border to the Nova Scotia is now 4 Lane and on your posting there is still parts of the old hwy that hasn't been changed, If you compare the two between Edmunston & Grand Falls you will see what I mean.
