Just updated the new My Drive App and appears to have fixed the IPhone Bluetooth Issues. I'm using an IPhone second gen se with iOS 13.5.1. This has never connected since I bought it. The new app installed and fresh Bluetooth pairing and it connects every time. Finally after over a year waiting

WOW! I hope you're right about that! I don't have an iPhone, so haven't been able to test it.
What version of the app 'fixed' it for you? 2.13.1? Again, as i don't have an iPhone, I haven't been keeping up with the version numbers.

This version shows 2.12.1

Interesting. Didn't realize that they had it fixed at that point.
Keep us posted on how well you do with it. Hope it's a permanent fix!

2.12.1 is the newest version in the Apple App Store. The last version there was 2.10.1 and it was over a year old. I really believe that the only reason that they fixed it is because they introduced the new Go Discovery last week. These new devices are released for Europe. Unlike the older devices sold across the pond these will not have a SIM card. Which means that they will rely on a cell phone. The update in the App Store states it is support for an updated model.

It appears that not all is fixed. The only way that I can consistently get the traffic to work is to disable the hands-free calling and the smartphone messaging. I have the Bluetooth on; the hotspot on and the My Drive App opened and signed into. My IPhone will show two Bluetooth pairings with only one connected. It may be worth noting that the new Go Discover will not support hands-free calling

I switched to using my phone as a WiFi hotspot for my TomTom a while back. Eliminated all of multi-BT connection issues for that and another device as well. Let's see how the 2.13.1 release does.

I've been using an older IPhone 6 Plus running iOS 12.4.7 That still works like they used to. Both Bluetooth pairings connect. It works without any issues. When I saw that the app was finally updated I thought I'd give the newer phone a try. I've only kept the older phone active to avoid the frustration with the connectivity issues

FWIW, the My Drive version is now up to 2.12.2. Apparently working on my iPhone 8+ under iOS 14.4.

I say apparently working because I have hardly left the house since January of last year due to the COVID virus, and have not even turned on my GPS during that time, so I cannot confirm how well they get along.

(Not leaving the house is less because of health concerns - although those have not been trivial - than because my job has had me buried coping with the virus - first with how to safely disinfect commercial aircraft and then with maximizing the amount of dry ice that can be safely loaded on them for vaccine transport.)

iPhone 6s iOS 14.4.2 MyDrive non funziona come al solito! Chissà perché Garmin con ZUMO XT riesce a far funzionare tutto alla perfezione !?
