updated map question

i had the 510 (gonna take it back to walmart when the 910 gets here) and ordered the free map update
then later that night i found the hot deal on the 910 at dell
and ordered it but it wont get here till after the free map deal ends
so here is my question ....
does the 510 and 910 has the same map and can i use the 510 map that
i ordered to update the 910 ?

The map update DVD is the same for all units so yes, you can use the DVD to update your TT910 with the product code of the TT510.

However, there is the problem which the TT510 product code will become invalid for the next person who picks up the device before the map deadline because it has been used.

I understand your dilemma but just wanted to throw that out there.

by tracking the order# through dell says the 910
will be here around the 20th

can i update both units if the disk gets here before i return the 510
that way who ever buys the 510 will have the updated map

the speedo is off on my truck and wifes hummer cause of the big tires and the
TT has worked out even better than i thought
i cant understand why i havent got one before

Yes, you can, and without worrying about the 510, either. I ordered a map update for my ONE and then updated a 910 with the same dvd, using the 910s product code. No problems whatsoever.

Sweet. The only thing though is your father might be jealous from the TTS of the TT910

no remote w/ the 510
no way to store music or pics either
the main reasons i upgraded for the same money
