Unregister device

Please ... How can the previous owner of my TomTom START 20 unregister it and allow me to register it to me? I have a VIA 135 registered already and I know I need a sep. account - but I tried that and it seems it is still registered to previous owner. Can this be done ONLINE or must we wait til Cust Serv openson Monday (It's now Sat 1230 hrs)?

The previous owner should be able to log into his account on the TomTom website and change his account name and password to something else, and he then gives you the new details
Or you could supply him with your own details to use.

Once you've changed it once, I think you still have to wait 6 months before you can change it again
