If I look at a .itn file is see lines in the format of the following:

coordinate | coordinate | name | code |

I think the coordinates are the longitude and latitude.
I think the code is a 1, 2, 3, 4 where 4 is the beginning and 1 is the ending with 3 as waypoints. I'm not sure what a 2 does.

Is there a way to modify the code to comment out a line without physically removing it? In Basic it would be the REM statement. I would like to lessen then number of waypoints but keep the same route.

Thanks

I know of no way to "comment out" a line of an *.itn file. However, if you set the flag data as a "1", it will appear in the list but be grayed out - about the same thing.

Here's a resource on how the files are built from TomTom. It's old, but still applicable. All of the flags are explained there.
