TT130 doing weird things

I have a friend that has a TT130 that when he has a route planned it will tell him to turn and there is no road to turn on ever on either side of the road and it is always recalulating the route as he is following the route.

Any ideas

There's a couple of explanations which come to mind, but you didn't give us enough detail. Could you post an example?

What do you need for a example. He informed me that he did the updates since he had not done them and the next time he used it on a route it kept recalulating the route as he was driving. I told him to do the pin reset to see if it would clear up the issue

I suspect gatorguy was suggesting you might perhaps provide a starting location and destination (no street numbers needed but streets would be good).
