ok i have read the forums detailing the steps to enable a tt1 to play mp3... but the threads ive read mention earlier versions ie. the ones that use the sd card for storage. on to my question, how would i go about performing this on the v4. could i install all the necassary files (what would they be) to an sd card, add the audiobooks, and plug it in only when i need to listen to the mp3s and remove the card for nav use? any help would be awesome. sorry to seem lazy im just trying to simplfy this for my gf's father.

When you say you read threads to enable MP3 playback, are you referring to the OpenTomTom software?

Isn't that for the 510, not the TT1?
