Hi, I've a TT One 3. edition and because my SD card has become corrupted I'm trying to get a new SD card to work.

My problem is that when I plug in the One my XP sees the TT, and starts up Home, but Home says that no device is connected, even though that the icon in the system tray says that the device is connected. I've tried on 3 different machines (XP, and Vista), 2 different USB cabels, and all the USB ports.

I've also tried a reset of the GPS, but no luck.

Does anybody in here have a suggestion what to try next??

Thanx, and regards

Peter

Hi Peter:

I am new to these and to GPS's also.

First did you reset it?
I think yours has a reset button (need to use a paperclip or something like that)

If you have not tried yet - I would suggest you try it without the SD card in and see what happens.

Also did you happen to make a coupy of all your files from windows explorer?
If so try to put them back on with windows (file) explorer.

If not maybe someone else has ideas.

Cheers Charlie

Hi Charlie,
I've tried to reset, but no luck there.

My problem is that the only files I've is the .cab files, and I don't know how or what to do with them.

So what I've is this: A GPS device that won't connect properly to Tomtom home, and a empty SD card :-(

Thanks for the reply Charlie

Cheers
Peter

Got it working. Downloaded and installed version 1.5.x of Tomtom Home.

After that everything worked fine, and I was able to update Home and the GPS
