the street i was looking for was in a new housing tract that just opened, so when i went to navigate- the street name did not show up- so i just went with instructions the customer gave me, and as i got real close- i noticed the street was showing up on the screen-
my TT deserved a spanking for this "naughty" behavior- however because its been so good to me, i just made it turn around and look OUT the windshield-
how am i suppose to know if the street in there, but hiding?

In my area there are many many streets on the maps that are not named. if there is no name, you can't search for it of course. You can use mapshare to name that street so the next time you look for it, it should show up.

If you select an incorrect zip code or city name the street will not be found. You can always use the browse map feature and find the road and select navigate or select the nearest crossroad which would get you close.
