TT 720 Retired What it means?

I note in the forum comments that the Tomtom 720 is retired .Does this means no more support for the 720? Bin the 720? Will new maps be available? software update be available?

Retired? No. Older model? Yes.

New maps will still be available. Prior to the model wide application update to 9.430, the 'latest' application for the 720 was in May 2009 (8.351).

So, bottom line.......

The model is fine and sure has much more functionality than newer models.

I'm keeping my 720.......
