tripmaster config file

Hi guys, new here...

I'm trying to get tripmaster (v2) working on my tomtom 720 in Australia.

Did the install thanks to the perfect flash demo.... installed v1.8, tried to tap on the screen to close (top right hand corner) to create the config file, but it didn't work...


Continued to try to tap all around, but no luck. Eventually did a reset of the device. Tried again, but no luck.

So, I don't have a config file, and as such, can't get the program to work.

Can somebody post up a working config file on here so I can cut and paste to my device?

what firmware are you running? 8.x has disabled many third party apps including tripmaster.

I'm running into the same thing. I have at 730 with 8.3. The menu items show up and when I select v1.8 I get the garbled screen but am not able to tap the top right corner to get it to exit. In fact tapping everywhere doesn't help. when I select v2 beta the screen returns to the main screen (map).

When I look in the Tripmaster folder there isn't any config file.

Any thoughts?

The following is a "cut and paste" of my "config.txt" file. Make sure you use a simple text editor (not a fancy word processor) to save this file, and make the file extension ".TXT" (not case sensitive). Good luck and I hope this works for you! Copy every thing below this line.

Thanks for the file.

I installed the file (pasted into Notepad) in the TripMaster directory. When I select v1.8 the TripMaster screen comes up and locks up the unit. Have to push the reset to get it back. v2 still does the same thing, just returns to the navigation screen.

Any thoughts out there? Is there a change I need to make to the config file since I'm suing a 730?
