Hi, I can’t connect to traffic, I get a message “We are having trouble accessing TomTom services. Please try again later” I have done the factory reset as per TT support but still no luck. I have checked the about and the Traffic subscription is Activated. I have tried the chat bot but I just around in circles. Any help greatly appreciated

How are you going about trying to make the connection? Bluetooth (if so, hot spot or MyDrive app?), WiFi?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Here are some screen shots that show the issue. I have followed the reset procedure a couple of times with the same result.

I see that the device claims that cloud service is connected. Have you tried moving anything to your device from MyDrive (web) to see if that is actually working?

Not previously, but I have just created a new journey with the MyDrive app on my iPad and it synced to my TomTom.

Just checking to be sure you can get a good end-to-end connection back to TomTom with the cloud, at least.
If the cloud transfers are working, then there may be something amiss with your subscription for traffic.

Just out of curiosity, what happens if you click on that little arrow just left of the "Traffic --- Activated" line?

Seems we have forgotten to ask --- did traffic EVER work on this device, or is this device new to you, and you're trying to get the traffic subscription to work properly?

And what country maps do you have loaded on this device at this time? By any chance to you have Russia loaded? I seem to recall that there have been issues for some users where, when they load a map where traffic is not available in that country, there is then there is no traffic provided for any country, and the speed cam reporting button often disappears as well.

Yes traffic was working and I have had the satnav from new (march 22). It came with world maps, traffic and lifetime updates. Map wise I have only United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland plus Oceania Loaded. I have just deleted Oceania just in case that was causing the issue but same result.

Prior to originally reaching out for help, I had tried that procedure multiple times but did not work. I have tried it again today with the same result.

Sounds like something has gone wonky with the subscription and you may have to reach out to TT directly.

One last thing...
Try shutting down your device's Bluetooth connection entirely and instead, rely solely upon a WiFi hotspot connection (from your router or phone) back to TomTom's servers. See if by any chance that changes the behavior.

There could be decimals at the ends of those percentages that they’re not showing. For instance (90.9+5.9+2.9) roughly equals 100

Hi. Did this get resolved? I’ve got the same problem with my Via 53. It was working when I first got it by now it isn’t, all my prescriptions are up to date
