my touchscreen is not working properly. tried the reset with no luck. the screen is not broken and my prob just started recently. any suggestions?

Do you have a sheet protector on it? If so, they often shrink over time, causing some additional pressure on the glass, as if a 'ghost' were tapping the screen at random.

Another reason may be that dirt has gotten under the bezel. Use a sharp thin piece of cardboard like the corner of a business card and slowly go around the perimeter of the glass with it.

Do you know how much time is a problem in general? I've got a screen protector, and of course I don't want it causing problems. Thanks!

I don't think this ghost effect caused by the screen protector happens to everyone. It's just that it may be the cause if it happens.
