tomtom website

I was wondering if there is a problem with the tomtom registration site? I have made several attempts to linkup my "tomtom start" to link with the website for updates etc and all I am getting is a page telling me the connection has failed and I have to try later!
I only bought the device today (24/5/14) and having that message popup is hardly a good start! Is anyone having the same problem today?

Good point - we don't know if he needs Home or MyDrive!
