TomTom turns on start up map Newyork?

When i turn on TomTom why does it start on Newyork? Im in Los Angeles, Very Ignoying.

Set your home location in Options.

Until the gps gets a satellite fix, it shows the last known location. If you've reset your unit, then the last known location will default to 42nd Street in NYC.

Once the signal is captured, the unit shows where you are.

I always got a chuckle out of that. I wonder if that's as close as the folks in Amsterdam think we get to their home town?
