tomtom toyota restarting

I am currently trying to solve a prob with 3 sets on 3 different toyota vans. After update on all 3 tomtoms with europe map, the unit works fine when handheld for hours but when plugged in the van it says RDS-TMC receiver connected and restarts after a few minutes or sometimes immediately. I tried removing the memory card and plugging in the unit and it still restarts after some time, so I think it has nothing to do with the memory card.

What *is* the cable you are using to connect the unit to the car charger? Is it one provided with the unit? Is it a rds-tmc combo car charger/antenna?

What model do you have? What software version?
