Tomtom rider goes to sleep

I have a Rider 2 and the screen goes to sleep after about 25 seconds and you have to touch the screen to make it come back on.. Is there any way to make the screen stay on all the time, or is something else causing this to happen? Anyone have any ideas?

Go to Change Preferences/ Battery Saving Preferences and select "Never dim screen" - Mike

I don't have a Rider_2 so its difficult to prescribe further, the option I gave above was based upon a Go device - Mike

See if there is an option for Screen Brightness and, if so, see if the option is there.
